The Global Economy and the Rise of the Trade Broker

The Big News story of the twenty first century is The Global Economy.
Nations such as China and India and other nations of Southeast Asia such as Vietnam
and Singapore are emerging as global leaders, partners and competitors in trade with
The European Union, Canada and the United States. Around the globe a trillion
dollars in trade is done every week, Nations from South Africa to Indonesia to Qatar
are positioning themselves to meet the financial, technical and industrial needs or
larger industrial economies. And small businesses, entrepreneurs and would-be
Brokers are looking for ways to get into the biggest game of the new Millennium,
especially in such emerging markets of Brazil, Cyprus, Egypt, Greece, Hungary, Italy
and South Korea.

The New Web site called capitalistinternational.org is working to make trade
brokering much easier and more profitable.

"The barriers to trade for small business persons are many" said Mr.Bey who is
former publisher of the Africalink import export newsletter and who has worked as a
trade broker off and on now for 10 years. Lack of funding to start new ventures,
lack of contacts that can perform and in some case the absence of the rule of law
across the international domain also hinder trade said Mr.Bey

THE INTERNET AND TRADE

World trade boarders are being removed by the Internets ability to connect people at
lower costs. Poor countries are beginning to use the Internet more to promote trade
in goods and services, especially tourism and import export. People who never
dreamed they could promote small business ventures worldwide are filling the need to
connect sources to buyers by becoming representatives, agents, affiliates and
brokers. Some are brokering deals to sell everything from used clothes to scrap
metal while others would-be dealers focus on spot deals for crude oil, rice, urea,
jetfuel or even currency exchanges!

There is plenty of room for the new internet broker in today\'s global economy
because it is often difficult to find what you want at times from someone who can
deliver, brokers perform this seek and find duty and get paid when they bring buyers
and sellers together.
The results of Internet trade and the growing influence of brokers is in the
numbers, In the U.S. the Total E-Commerce Sales in 2006 were $104 Billion. While
much of this trade is done via direct sales via website, brokers are now playing an
increasing role in the world of global economics.

International trade is conducted on the Internet in many ways, several of those
methods are listed here.

Trade brokers, people or groups that seek to bring buyers and sellers together,
troll the internet via mailing list, news groups and message boards looking for
suitable sources of goods and or likely buyers of products or services ranging from
Water Purifiers to Gold bullion and Crude oil.

Mandates, persons who represent the interest of a specific person or group may use
a system of traditional source contacts like the "old boy networks", to conduct a
trade deal or issue tenders to be bid upon by potential vendors of goods or
services. Mandates may entertain the offers of brokers to find them a suitable
match.

Worldwide more than 1.2 billion people use the Internet.
Many of these users are businesses attempting to reach global markets via their
landing pages of their web sites, banners and email campaigns.
Most of this Internet usage is in North America, Australia, Oceania and Europe.
Among these, the Asia pacific comes in first with 37% of all Internet use.
